Larry Kohan
President
Larry, President of 1st In Emergency Products has over 30 years of experience in the emergency vehicle/product field.
In addition, he joined his local volunteer fire company in Franklin Lakes, NJ and has been a volunteer firefighter for the past 30 years and has served as a Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, and Chief.
In addition, he pursued a career in law enforcement and worked in various local and regional
task forces retiring in 2019 after 25 years of service.
His knowledge and experience in both fields are essential for the company.
Ryan Dodd
Vice President
Ryan, Vice President of 1st In Emergency Products, is involved in all of the company's operational projects.
His experience, more than 15 years of experience in carpentry projects and emergency vehicles, led him to become a partner of the company.
Ryan also has served in his local volunteer fire department for the past 20 years as Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, and Chief.
His knowledge and experience in the fire industry have been helpful in assisting customers in all aspects.
Matt Hayward
Operations Manager
Matt is the man behind all of our projects!
He has more than 15 years of experience in vehicle upfitting and woodworking.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and being a volunteer firefighter, which he has done for the past 17 years.
Jimmy Brierty
Logistics Manager
Our master of logistics has been involved in the Fire Service for 19 years as a Volunteer Firefighter and retired from the Borough of Ridgefield, NJ as the Full-Time Fire Code Official in 2018.
Jimmy has a wealth of knowledge, experience and organizational skills that aids him to effectively perform all of his duties and responsibilities as the Logistics Manager.
Gee Olbened
Marketing Director
Gee is the marketing guy behind all campaigns!
With over 10 years of experience in brand strategy, effective campaign management, e-commerce, digital marketing and SEO, Gee is that guy who is always looking for new ideas!
Mariann Noakes
Sales Team
Mariann will help you!
Experienced in the design/sales of custom command cabinets in the emergency vehicle industry for 18 years she can handle any project.
Mike Dickinson
Fabrication Manager
Michael has been working at 1st In for just over 5 years, working his way up from cabinet technician to lead cabinet tech and now to Fabrication Manager.
He’s enjoyed watching this company grow into what it is
today and looks forward to growing further with the company. Before working
here Michael was in the automotive industry as a technician at dealerships.
Sam Schulz
CNC/CAD Programmer
Sam creates buildable 3D CAD designs for each of our custom projects and translates them to a program to run on the CNC machine. She achieved her bachelor's degree in industrial design at NJIT, and has been working in the design industry for about 10 years, previously working as a structural designer for packaging and displays.
In her free time she likes being outdoors, working on projects at home, playing video games, and spending time with her pets.
